Donate to help a local family see Black Panther
Marvel’s new film, Black Panther, is an opportunity for youth of color to see empowered, intelligent, passionate, Black protagonists on the big screen. For many, the value of such an experience can’t be overstated. Of particular relevance to NRDI’s goals, the film has an emphasis on technology, development, social justice, and social accountability.
For these reasons, the Natural Resources Diversity Initiative is launching an initiative to sponsor local families to see the film. The goal is to provide as many opportunities (in the form of Regal Cinema tickets) to minimize the financial burdens that would limit families from taking their children to see this movie. |
